Detection, monitoring, and domain awareness are critical requirements for national security.  Cambridge develops surveillance solutions to meet a variety of client needs – from maritime awareness on US and foreign shores, to Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) for air traffic and Common Operating Picture analysis, our engineering teams offer our clients a variety of surveillance solutions.  Cambridge technical staff have experience in a variety of C4ISR technologies, allowing them to design surveillance solutions that are tailored to unique mission requirements. Whether it is independent testing of new Mode 5 IFF systems, the integration of Eastern European radar technologies into western/NATO control centers, or exportable maritime surveillance systems to perform detection and monitoring in support of counter terrorism, Cambridge can meet the need.  Our offerings in the surveillance area include:

    Design, construction, installation, and testing for a maritime surveillance system for the Republic of the Philippines that provides situational awareness through sensor fusion, target detection, and classification capabilities. Includes a network of Coast Watch South Radar Stations and regional Coast Watch South Centers for integration of maritime surveillance information into a common operating picture. Provision of training/exercise plans to support operations.

  • Maritime Surveillance System – Bahrain Coast Guard Maritime Surveillance System – Bahrain Coast Guard
    Cambridge is providing an integrated coastal surveillance system that will provide the Kingdom of Bahrain Coast Guard with a comprehensive maritime situational awareness and Command and Control capability. The system comprises five new MSS sensor sites, upgrades to existing sites, and a Regional Command Center. Fused sensors include X and S-Band surface search radar, Infrared and Electro-Optical long range cameras.

Includes integration of new technologies for radar transmission data via IP connectivity and the integration of HN radar data in Ecuador, Dominican Republic, and Colombia into Host Nation C2 centers and U.S. C4I operations centers.

  • Hungarian Peace Pannon Air Surveillance & IFF System Hungarian Peace Pannon Air Surveillance & IFF System
    Prime contractor for the upgrade of the Hungarian Defense Forces air surveillance system. Enhancement to air traffic control at four Hungarian bases, integration and upgrade of surveillance data at two air surveillance operations centers, and system integration and installation services for select Host Nation aircraft. Enhancements provided an improved air surveillance picture, including multi-radar tracking capability, real-time operational readiness picture based on new interrogations, and a supplemental remote air-picture recording capability.
