Alaska: Satellite Earth Station
Design, delivery, and operation of an 11 Meter C-Band satellite system for use by the National Communications Systems (DHS). A related communications assessment and analysis was performed for FEMA in order to determine connectivity and homeland defense capacity in Alaska.
Arizona: Satellite Earth Station and Combined Air Operations Center
Design, construction, installation and integration of a satellite earth station at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. On-going operations of the complete site including C-band terminal and associated equipment (up and down converters, emergency power equipment modulators/demodulators, crypto/security equipment, and fiber optic transport). Performing O&M to all terrestrial paths; providing circuit configuration, activation, and trouble-shooting/fault isolation in support of the associated land lines and other voice and data communications.
Washington, DC: DHS Law Enforcement Centralized Access Development (LECAD)
Development of centralized access point for all investigation and intelligence applications that support agents and analysts within DHS and ICE. Support includes analysts, training specialists, and database managers. Providing full lifecycle development of applications. Primary objectives are integration of the current and future systems to support transformation of data from the current data sources in to a common and compatible structure.
Washington, DC: US Air Force LAN/AIS Administration and Web Application Support
Management, administration, help desk and customer support for classified & unclassified LANs, telephone network, video teleconference, and agency website; DIACAP and Information Assurance responsibilities.
Hawaii: Fixed and Transportable Satellite Systems
Design & procurement of 1.2 meter and 2.4 meter transportable satellite terminals, Network control facility gateway, and on-site training operations.
Illinois: DISA Network Control and Operations Support
Provision of 24x7 worldwide Tier I and II network operations of the SIPRNet, NIPRNet, DATMS-C, DATMS-U, IDNX, GIG BE, and Community of Interest Networks at DISA’s primary global Network Operations Centers (NOCs). Personnel monitor, manage, troubleshoot, and ensure service stability for DISN, DRSN, CONUS MUX, DISN BWM, GBWM, SONET, E-SONET, SIPRNet, NIPRNet, DATM, DSN, and Commercial Leased Service.
Maryland: NASA Goddard Land Mobile Radio System
Chosen by NASA to design and install the enhanced Land Mobile Radio System for the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) campus. Designed, developed, integrated, tested, and delivered all hardware and software components, for the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) LMR System. Accomplished full training program for NASA employees/users of the system. Currently providing on-going operations and maintenance of the system.
New Hampshire: Production Equipment Center for Logistics and Asset Management
Established and operates the 20,000 square foot Production Equipment Center (PEC) in support of OCONUS war-fighting units. Full-scale asset management. PEC operations include handling and processing as well as logistics support for inbound and outbound shipments of communication, surveillance and intelligence assets. Cambridge supports those shipments through inventory management, packaging, and shipment coordination for Government contract carriers as well as delivery tracking.
North Dakota: Low Frequency (LF) Fixed Submarine Broadcast System (FSBS)
Responsible for complete operations and maintenance of the Low Frequency (LF) Fixed Submarine Broadcast System (FSBS) at LaMoure, North Dakota. Operations are 24x7 365 days per year. Includes all aspects of transmission support, operations, and facility and equipment maintenance. Performs complete site system maintenance -- preventive and corrective --on all equipment, systems and facilities in accordance with requirements of the Navy 3M system. Provides all site security programs Automated Information Security (AIS), Communication Security (COMSEC) EKMS – 1, and Operations Security (OPSEC).
Puerto Rico: High Frequency Global Communications Systems
Providing complete O&M support for the 400+ acre campus of the High Frequency Global Communication System (HFGCS) Puerto Rico Station (PRS), which encompasses the HF Receiver/Remote Control Site at Salinas and the HF Transmitter Site Isabela. Includes all aspects of transmission and communications operations support. Providing HF communications for multiple users 24 hours/day, 7 days per week, 365 days annually to achieve an operational availability rate of 98.5%. Performing maintenance to all HF antenna systems and towers, including lighting, structural integrity, and tensioning.
Puerto Rico: Operations and Maintenance of Puerto Rico Area Wideband System (PRAWS)
Prime contractor for the 29-site DISN microwave network on Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Cambridge currently operates and maintains the PRAWS network with a team of experienced, on-island communications technicians and facilities support personnel. Operations are 24x7, 365 days annually to achieve an availability rate of 99.69%.
California: Maritime Surveillance Systems
Maritime Surveillance Systems will provide select host nations with situational awareness through sensor fusion, target detection, and classification. Typical capabilities include a network of maritime surveillance stations that capture and transmit data to a regional command center where information is integrated into a common operating picture. A concept of operations and training plan is developed to support system implementation.
South Carolina: Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS)
Providing technical support for the full suite of JWICS equipment; lab testing and verification for JWICS upgrades; coordination of network bandwidth upgrades; configuration control of equipment upgrades; selected site installations.
Florida: US CENTCOM C4I Enterprise Support
Design local area communications networks and sub-networks for USCENTCOM sites at MacDill AFB located in Tampa, Florida and throughout the CENTCOM AOR. Integration/maintenance, system administration, and network control support for network management systems. Installation, test and implementation of C4I equipment at sites designated by US CENTCOM.
Florida: DHS Law Enforcement Information Sharing (LEISS)
Development of methodologies for providing distributed software services across the DHS Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) network. Facilitates the sharing of information from ICEPIC with Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies via implementation of web services. Cambridge software architects and analysts manage mission-critical production dependencies to systems inside and outside of ICE by allowing multiple applications from several sources to communicate with each other using open protocols.
Colombia: Bogotá Earth Station and Communications Center
Design, construction, and testing of 2000 square foot communications center and satellite earth station in Bogotá, Colombia. 4.6 m antenna; safe room; redundant power and communications, links to CONUS & host nation centers.
Caribbean: Circuit and Transmission Services – DISA
Transmission provider for DISA – performs circuit establishment for international communications and transport requirements from local telephony support through OC-3 installation. Supports WHCA teams to provide land line communications and technical support for Vice Presidential travel in the Caribbean AOR.
Curacao: Earth Station and Communication Center
Design and construction of a turn-key facility that includes TADIL-A system, UHF/VHF remote voice capability, satellite earth station. Includes site survey, system design, civil engineering, complete test program, and contactor Logistic support.
Latin America: Counter Drug Surveillance and Control System
Prime contractor to the Air Force and its war-fighting users (host nations, coalition partners, and USSOUTHCOM) to produce C4ISR systems and enhancements to the detection and monitoring related to the Counter-Narco Terrorism mission. Includes integration of new technologies for radar transmission data via IP connectivity and the integration of HN radar data in Ecuador, Dominican Republic, and Colombia into HN C2 centers and U.S. C4I operations centers.
Latin America: Satellite Systems Fixed and Transportable (Fly-Aways)
Design, procurement, integration, test and delivery of transportable and fixed satellite terminals. Some locations include Network control facility gateway, and on-site training operations. Systems delivered to: Peru, Ecuador, Bogotá, Venezuela, and Panama.
Costa Rica: Communications and Surveillance Network
Design and installation of new voice and data capability in Cerro Azul, Costa Rica—part of a network of surveillance and communications nodes that is used for the detection, monitoring, and tracking of narcotics traffickers. Deploying next generation of communications equipment utilizing Tactical Digital Information Links (TADIL), voice transmissions, and UHF/VHF radio service capabilities. Data and voice are transmitted over commercial satellite communications channels, over TADIL links, and over remotely controlled VHF/UHF radios to the Joint Inter Agency Task Force–South (JIATF-S) and command centers located in Latin America.
Central America: Regional Air Surveillance System (SRVA)
Survey and development of designs and CONOPS for a Central American (CENTAM) Regional Command Center (RCC) that will house up to 40 HN personnel and produce a CENTAM COP by using air, sea, and land sensors. Design allows the center to monitor licit/illicit flights, provide effective coordination of military/civilian air operations, enhance search and rescue coordination, and support humanitarian and peacekeeping operations.
Hungary: Peace Pannon Air Surveillance & IFF System
Prime contractor for the upgrade of the Hungarian Defense Forces air surveillance system. Enhancement to air traffic control at four Hungarian bases, integration and upgrade of surveillance data at two air surveillance operations centers, and system integration and installation services for select HN aircraft. Enhancements provided an improved air surveillance picture, including multi-radar tracking capability, real-time operational readiness picture based on new interrogations, and a supplemental remote air-picture recording capability.
Poland and Azerbaijan: Air Traffic Control -- Identification Friend/Foe
Platform Integration of enhanced digital Identification Friend/Foe (IFF) Transponders into Russian designed aircraft. Cambridge was responsible for the design and installation of the AN/APX-119 Digital Mode S transponders into two MI-8MT Helicopters, a TU-134 A3, and an IL-76 aircraft. Additionally, Cambridge conducted ground test and flight test certification of the Transponder systems.
Algeria: SATCOM Training
Provision of SATCOM training and satellite transmission support services for the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria. Supported earth station trouble-shooting, broadcast requirements analysis, and link analysis.
Afghanistan: Counter Narco-Terrorism Support and Interagency Operations Coordination Center
Design, installation, and on-site operation of a counter narco terrorism intelligence gathering and dissemination system. Support includes fusion system design and installation; theater-embedded intelligence analysts, Dari-linguists, and host nation trainers; tactical voice & data links to CONUS; integration into Drug Enforcement Agency.
Afghanistan: Counter Narcotics Police Afghanistan-Kabul
Provide capacity-building to the Counter Narcotics Police of Afghanistan (CNPA). Provide mentoring and instruction in law enforcement, intelligence analysis, imagery, and communications. Supports the development of host nation practices and processes to more fully meet the counter narcotics enforcement mission of the CNPA.
Bahrain: Maritime Surveillance System – Bahrain Coast Guard
Cambridge is providing an integrated coastal surveillance system that will provide the Kingdom of Bahrain Coast Guard with a comprehensive maritime situational awareness and Command and Control capability. The system comprises five new MSS sensor sites, upgrades to existing sites, and a Regional Command Center. Fused sensors include X and S-Band surface search radar, Infrared and Electro-Optical long range cameras.
Middle East: Multi-National Communication Network
Design, installation, operation, and upgrade to international communications system supporting CNT and related missions. Involves three sovereign entities; includes multiple forms of transmission media, various grooming & routing devices, and user training for host nation and US users.
Pakistan: Frontier Corps C3 Architecture and Design
Survey, technical assessment, and development of a C3 architecture to provide information sharing and cross border communications between the Pakistan Frontier Corp (Northwest Provinces), the Afghanistan Border Police and National Army, and the US and Coalition Forces. Included travel through the AOR for assessment, CONOPS development, and logistics planning.
Philippines: Coast Watch South II Surveillance System
Design, construction, installation, and testing for a maritime surveillance system for the Republic of the Philippines that provides situational awareness through sensor fusion, target detection, and classification capabilities. Includes a network of Coast Watch South Radar Stations and regional Coast Watch South Centers for integration of maritime surveillance information into a common operating picture. Provision of training/exercise plans to support operations.
Afghanistan: Bagram Air Base Intelligence Fusion Cell
Operation of the Combined Joint Task Force CNT cell; including analysis of Afghan and Central Asian narcotics traffic and networks, identification of processing, production and transportation of narcotics supporting CT mission.
