For more information on specific technologies, see our Areas of Expertise Page.

US Navy:

  • Cambridge is supporting the Navy in their development/deployment of the Joint Warfare Intelligence Communication System (JWICS);
  • Logistics planning and configuration management of multiple Navy cryptographic and network security devices is an additional area of Cambridge support;
  • Cambridge engineers also support a US Navy wideband microwave system. From the network architecture to node installation, Cambridge creates and maintains a reliable system that is used by the US Navy and its federal agency tenants.

US Air Force:

  • Cambridge designed, constructed and tested a 4500 square foot satellite earth station and communications center with a roof-mounted terminal in Bogotá, Colombia.
  • Cambridge provides upgrades to radios, sensor integration, and telephony systems in various forward operating locations throughout Central and South America.
  • The US Air Force also selected Cambridge to provide management, administration, help desk and customer support for a classified and unclassified LAN, a telephone network and for an agency website.
  • Cambridge is constructing a turnkey communication system in the Caribbean that includes satellite/UHF-VHF/and remote radar data integration.

US Army:

  • The US Army determined that they were facing critical communication problems in and around Fort Huachuca, AZ, involving single points of failure for their commercial telephone service, SIPR, and NIPR network connections. Cambridge engineers helped the Army develop alternative communications pathways to provide the required redundancy.

White House Communications Agency:

  • Cambridge designed and delivered 1.2 meter and 2.4-meter transportable satellite terminals, a network control facility gateway, and provided on-site training for the White House Communication Agency.
  • Cambridge engineers provided all landline telephone communications for Vice President Cheney's visits to the Caribbean. The team traveled in advance of the Vice President to secure communications throughout the islands.

US Central Command:

  • Cambridge designed and operates a Counter Narcotics Fusion Center in Southwest Asia.
  • Cambridge installed and provided O&M to satellite systems in Uzbekistan and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
  • Cambridge provides US Central Command with intelligence analysis and translation services both in CONUS and in-theater.

Defense Information Systems Agency:

  • For the DISA CIO, Cambridge created an interactive IP-based EC/EDI training system to support the grant administration, R&D and scientific procurement mission. The effort included a nation-wide IT customer survey, interviews, data reduction and compilation, curriculum design, and development and hosting of a web-based training system.
  • Cambridge network controllers support the Regional Operations Center at Scott AFB, IL.

Hungarian Defense Forces:

  • Cambridge designed, installed, and tested upgrades for an Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) air traffic system for four Hungarian Air Defense sites. This project upgraded the IFF capability of NATO surveillance systems in Hungary.

Smithsonian Institution:

  • Cambridge developed and produced a transportable interactive display and mapping system for the Smithsonian Institution. A user-activated touch screen-mapping device allows for multiple users and replaceable software modules. A recyclable graphic design element allows the display topic to be changed/replaced, saving SI exhibit resources.

Intelligence and National Security Community:

  • Cambridge supports various Intelligence and National Security customers on both classified and unclassified efforts.
